We are currently have a Mortara ELI 250 ECG machine on trial, inital indications from staff is it's not great. Lots of problems with interference. Any problems encountered by biomeds on this machine would be grateful to me.

Time is of the essence. Don't abuse it. Just make the most of it.

We have a fleet of these units here in our trust and have no problems at all- the lcd screen can appear obscured and blacked out when connecting and disconnecting leadsets but never a problem during monitoring : )

Yes - we have had problems.
A new machine that had to go back to the States with a pcb fault - under warranty, but down-time was about a month. (RL Dolby provided us with a loaner)
Also, a problem with the entry point for the ECG cable with the proprietary trolley, which is so poorly designed it causes the cable to bend and fail in a shorter time. This has been rasied with RL Dolby also.
Thirdly, the internal (upper) case screw pillars cracked releasing broken parts into the unit. This requires a new upper case - JUST outside of the warranty period.

We are starting to loose confidence in this machine and the quality of manufacture. Come back MAC6 all is forgiven .. !

Hi,
I have a problem with an equipment like the eli250, but is with the eli 200.

All started when i changed the batteries, and after that, in the display appears "error configuration".

The service manual don't have reference to these problem.

Somebody has any idea??

Thanks and regards.

It sounds like you lost the configuration when you changed the battery. Is there a coin cell or something similar in there to make sure the memory is retained when a battery is flat or removed? Is this flat?
The configuration is usually a manually enered thing for new machines so you will have to re-enter it. I hope you have a paper copy in the records.
