Hi everyone.
We are looking to trial various Incubators in our NNU. Surprisingly Googling doesn't result in much when trying to see who provides Incubators in the UK.
I have got : Draeger
Philips
GE
Are there any others out there (in UK)i have missed?

Inspiration Healthcare do incubators made by Atom and Central Medical Supplies do one made by Weyer.

Not aware of any others.

We do not do the Atom range of incubators any more as Philips have done a worldwide deal with Atom. Still a very good product but I have no idea of the support you would receive if you chose to buy them.

I only know of the ones mentioned already.

Can't make the kit ourselves? I know, let's buy (yet) another company that does, then! think

But maybe it would look better if we called it a strategic alliance. Yes. Good idea!

So much for competition (perhaps it was a bit too stiff for them), and Free Trade. whistle

In 1857 Richard Cobden wrote that "free trade is God's diplomacy, and there is no other certain way of uniting people in bonds of peace". Yeah, right. Just take a quick glance around the world as it is right now, and dare to take a wee peek into the not-so-distant future. frown

Meanwhile ... I have always found Atom kit to be first class! smile

If you don't inspect ... don't expect.

You look away for 5 minutes!

The Atom used to have a competitive edge due to being cheaper to buy than the others but the strength of the Yen a couple of years ago changed that and you could buy a Caleo for a very similar price (with volume discount. Not sure how it is placed cost wise in the market now it's with Philips

Hi,

In Portugal there are incubators:

- Drager Caleo
- Drager/Air shields - C2000
- Ohmeda Giraffe
- ATOM
- Ardo -Amelie
- Mediprema - Satis+

We have some problems with technical training, but with supply some spares we don´t have problems.
