There seems to have been an interesting evolution in the processors (micro-controllers) used in the various Gemini's. It looks like the PC-1 started off with the Intel
8097* and this was carried forward (but using a later revision) into the PC-2. But I see that the PC-2TX has a
80C188 instead (and a lot more RAM). According to the Imed manual, the 80C188EB processor "...includes the 8088 core", which it something that I find amazing.
