Hello all!

Surgeons are complaining that they can see the diathermy tips if they use the bulky add-ons to use the smoke evac's (to suck up and filter the fumes). So they ahve stop using our smoke evacs in theatres which could be potentially hazardous to your health! The only solution is to get the diathermy pencils that have a suction channel in-built into the pencil itself.

We have one in from ValleyLab buts its £23! (list). Has anyone got these in their hospital? What manufactuers do you have?
