I have a blown component on the 070402 PCB making it unreadable. Can anyone tell me what J12 is?

is it a SMD component?...based on the label it is just a low ohm resistor typically 1 to 5 ohms...if it is in series with the IC or any other descrete component, it must have a fusible characteristic.

There is no work worth dying for.
