So all the money and effort spent on A4C will have been a complete waste of resources. So the idea of equal pay for an equal job will disapear.
Also, consider the stress of the amount of effort put in by the staff writing their job descriptions and then having to wait for the outcome.
I used to work in the Scottish Borders before my retirement which is traditionally one of the lowest paid areas of the UK. This I believe was a leftover from the "tug your forlock" time when the weaving mills were prosperous.
No! the staff have had enough stress with A4C and don't need another few years of uncertainty!

Different government, Graham ... tug, *tug.

They'll have us all in the Workhouse soon if we let them.

Take my tip:- forget it, Mate ... and simply enjoy your retirement the best you can.

I am enjoying retirement Geoff. Just get really annoyed when government, whichever one it is, tries to re-invent the wheel at my, and all other taxpayers expense.

Best to ignore it all, Graham ... or else you'll end up like me, angry the whole time.

Either that or (again, like me) endeavour to turn your Anger into Action!

Back on the topic of "Regional Pay" ... to my mind this is yet another example of how disunited our so-called United Kingdom has become.

It will be interesting to see whether "Regional Pay" is adopted by the muppets in parliment..
