Can anyone throw some light on the method for carrying out the dry side calibration test on the Omnifuse syringe driver using the Omnifuse software and a Fluke IDA 4 Channel tester. I'm being asked to input an ambiguous measured value in KG?? and only have the standard IDA options of mmHg, cmH2O etc.

Hate to be a party pooper but the short answer is you can not.

To complete the dry side occulsion pressure measurement you need to use the the approved pressurement tool, - a load cell (mounted to a dummy syringe) (dry side occulsion pressure is a direct measurement of the force being applied by the pump drive system to the syringe plunger) with the relevent control box that allows you to zero the load cell etc. This system then gives you the applied force values to enter into the omnifuse calibration program to allow the right values to be written back to the pump software.

The tool is available from Smiths but it is made by Force Measurement Systems in Glasgow, who may be able to help you.

The part No. is 0151-0287 load assembly kit.
For the size gauge set if you are calibrating 0151-0259 (sizes 8-35mm)

You will also need the software depends on your software issue in your pumps, contact the techs at smiths for the one you will need.
