Hi All,

A friend has one of the above machines and recently the motor has been very loud when running.

Are there any basic things that can be checked that might cause it to be louder than normal?

Cheers,

Chris

Did it get noisy only after it had been dropped? think

I would open it up if I were you, Chris ... no doubt the problem will become immediately obvious!

If its a compressor like some of the other nebs.
its common for the fan that usually on the motor shaft to move up the shaft and start hitting the casing or the bearrings have gone in the arm.
problem is fixing, its usually cheaper to replace than fix if it needs parts.

check the proper alignment of bearrings.or if bearring is damage, better buy new one than to include that to your headache. : - )
