Has any one had problems with these monitors not charging. We have had 3 in the past week which have suddenly stopped charging.

smile We havn't had any problems - yet!

GE will upgrade the IEC inlet FOC - perhaps that is where your charging problem resides?

These monitors shouldn't be affected by this hazard notice as they should already have the new power socket fitted(s/n greater than 3400001)

We have had a few of these monitors go faulty in the past few months due to charging problems with the power supply. We also have had several battery problems. Due to cost of batteries from GE I contacted Euro Energy to see if they could supply us replacements but was told by them that they have had a look at the battery and have no intention of offering it for sale due to its construction.

We've only got one in an offsite rehab ward and it was nothing but trouble was repaired by GE a couple of times and eventually GE replaced it with a PRO 400 plus a load of spare cuffs and consumables etc

Take a look at the solder joints of transformer Tr1 on the power supply board. We had one with 10 bad connections.
