Hi everyone.
I have five vela ventilators model 16530-02 serial: AKT0...
But all of them have the same fault.
That is if led indicated battery status is red, the machine can't turn on. if led is yellow or green, the machine works ok.
I don't know why.
Can you please help me?

You mean, you need to connect first the machine to the wall outlet in order for the battery to charge for a period of time and it will turn on?...some machine ussually the life support such as this ventilator use this method as a protection...in this way, it is assured that the machine have enough back-up power to support the need of the patient in case there is a power failure...

i think your machine has any problem with power module. by the way when you turn it on, can you heard any sound? do you test it by test lung? has it work?
