Yes. All-in-all, Huw has been very forgiving. whistle

Something like 1 in 500, which I suppose is a fair crack! LOL.

But here's another idea:- why not store any and all "offending" posts away to be used in evidence at VRCT hearings? think

By the way, to my mind this is one of the (many) things wrong with Modern Britain today:- namely, folk being "offended" on behalf of "others" (who usually aren't).

My vote says:- publish and be damned (free speech, in other words)! smile

Robert

There is a 60 minute grace period. If you decide to remove your post within 60 mins - it goes completely.
If not, you have six two hours in which to edit the post.

We went through this about 10(?) years ago. I haven't needed to alter the time frame since that discussion.

To be perfectly honest, I am not particularly bothered as to who the 'last poster' on the previous thread was. I am more interested on what that person said. Did he/she give an opinion? Nowt wrong with that.

However, Huw has said that he will not explain as to why the thread was locked. Fair enough. Onwards and upwards.

@Huw: I think Robert may have been referring (as I was trying to) to posts deleted by the moderator. smile

And six hours in which to edit? Is it not two hours (or even 90 minutes)? think

@Mike: yes, that's a good point (about the "opinion"). I agree.

My spelling is not bad. I am typing this on a Medigenic keyboard and I blame that for all my typos.
