Has any one got a comment on the introduction of X-Cal technology to Masimo Pulse Oximeters and the impact on the consumables budgets . This has just started to be a problem with 3 versions of software some of which see a probe or lead as "bad" after 15 months use and some which will function with the same lead. With reference to LAB7128A whitepaper from Masimo

I do not know why you are so concerned, the white paper says this
Quote:
X-Cal is seamlessly integrated into Masimo sensors, cables and circuit boards and is provided at no additional cost to end users.

If it is there in black and white it must be true.
(End of sarcasm)
Try holding them to this and see what they say.
Surely any "improvement" is just there to increase sales and increased sales means someone has to be paying

My spelling is not bad. I am typing this on a Medigenic keyboard and I blame that for all my typos.
