Welcome to the forum Yassol. smile

Ophthalmic equipment is a good speciality to be involved in. What you might need to do is to buy up every piece of "surplus" equipment you can find, then use those as your source of spares.

A lot of medical equipment gets prematurely retired from with government hospitals in the UK (for example). May I suggest that you find someone* here to pick up used equipment at the monthly auctions, then ship it out to you?

Good Luck. smile

* Not me, I hasten to add.

Yeah, I'm full of bright ideas! whistle

Hopefully someone with sufficient resources will be in a position to do business with you.

My dimmed memory banks seem to recall that a couple of the Main Players we sometimes see on here did some work out your way a few* years ago. smile

* Many, perhaps.

yeah i know im not the only but i may be da best for exemple

we found a new solution for rodenstock canon clone autorefractor

for error messages and no target problem and no video signal on the screen nothing big they use ntsc ccd cell and cx sony ics no datasheet thanks sony smile so first transcodign the signal from pal-b to ntsc 3.68mhz and then extract positive syncs inject them to gain text generator then inject converter video signal and its works and for error or no target message just block the focus motor when u power it up then call it to the limit of if and repower the machine and ur done values comes again to the screen

and once again anyone that have problems with eye care equipements just ask ur questions and maybe i can help

oh god i wish i was born somewhere else i can fix anything that run on juice lol

Don't sell yourself short ... it sounds like you're doing just fine.

And you may not be aware that in some parts of the world you wouldn't be "allowed" to carry out innovative repairs. frown

Yes; just the sort of environment I used to enjoy - where you have to rely on your own resources, really understand what you're doing, and seek out innovative solutions.

Back to First Principles. Real Engineering, in fact.

Good Luck to you. smile

But (and on the other hand) - hasn't the internet changed everything ... "levelled the playing-field" (whatever)?

Remember the definition of an engineer:- a guy who can do for a dollar what any darned fool can do for ten!
