Hi Skippy,

There were probably 400 people there yesterday. I spoke to many of the people that were there - delegates and exibitors. As the chairman, I have many duties to attend too. I did shake hands with and speak to many of the delegates as the entered and left the conference venue.

I feel dissapointed and sad that you thought I was a 'pompous git', I was actually just very busy.

Do you have any idea of what's involved in running an event like this? Do you know how many people there are to speak to in a day?

I've known John for 20 years and to call him pompous is ridiculous!

One thing though Skippy... Can you explain how it is that you didn't appear on either the registered or unregistered delegate list? According to my records, you didn't attend.

Can I take it then that Skippy isn't going to win the iPad

I am sorry for the comment I made above re Mr Sandham, it was an 'off the cuff' comment which should have been kept to myself, I have phoned and spoke with John, and apologised unreservedly..
