When perusing the latest vacancy advertised on the site, I noticed that something does not add up. It states Band 6, yet the pay doesn't agree with any pay band (closest is band 7).
Anyone know what the deal is?

I love deadlines, I like the wooshing sound they make as they fly by.

Is the position in a high cost living area so the enhancements for that have been added to the pay?
The one at Royal Brompton in London for example.
And with house prices in London being about £1million for starters, the high cost allowance barely scratches the surface.
My rail ticket is £5500 as I cannot afford to live anywhere near work in London.
