Has anyone out there got a copy of the service manual for this device please? I am also trying to get hold of a power supply for this unit, it is a Skynet SNP-Z207-MV. Have found a couple of UK companies but just waiting for a response. If anyone else can help I'd be eternally grateful.

SDC Pro 2 ... or SDC HD?

Not sure that you'll find a proper service manual for these (or any other Stryker product, for that matter) - more like a "Troubleshooting" section in an operators' manual (if you're lucky).

Meanwhile, I would be interested to hear how you get on sourcing the SMPS. Is Hamiltone on your list, I wonder? And lastly, what's wrong (the fault) with your SMPS - a dry cap (or a "blackened" component - due to a failed cap) somewhere?

Either way, a nice little fault finding exercise for your apprentice. I recommend an ESR Meter, if you don't already have one - and suggest you start with the output electrolytics!

Was reviewing my posts and saw your reply to my post and I did get an answer for the power supply, this was the company http://www.acalbfi.com/uk/ they even sent me a price of £72 (£16 carriage charge) delivery time was about 10 weeks though, even so, it is available.

Is the SDC working again now, then?
