Barwick Systems are pleased to announce E-MATpda...

* Allocated jobs may be downloaded to a PDA for a specified technician.

* Service history details may be completed in situ (including consumables etc.).

* Completed jobs may be uploaded to E-MAT and the service history details are immediately available.

* This removes the duplication of a technician completing service history entries on a job card and a clerk updating these details into the system.

For more information please visit our website at http://www.barwicksystems.co.uk (see the Products page)

Paul.
I only drop into the EBME website very occasionally, too busy most of the time, honestly.
I am surprised that your posting on the PDA’s has received no response. We have the PDA system in operation here at Altnagelvin and it has made a big difference to everyone in the EBME section. (Positive that is)
No more printing of hundreds of dockets for PPM’s and defect work, which means of course no more feed back by clerical. If up and downs loads are carried out say twice daily (in practice it is more) historical data is bang up to date. The Technicians have taken to it like the proverbial duck to water. This has been something of a Holy Grail as far as the management is concerned and to actually get it up and running with comparative ease surprised the onlookers from Operations and Maintenance who would dearly love to have it for their staff.
As I say just surprised it is of no interest to others.
