Hi,
Does anyone have any experience using/servicing these devices in the UK? I'd like to know about manufacturer support, failures (inc. common problems), likes & dislikes, etc.
We are looking at these as a possible replacement for some aging Graseby 3300's and would like to know what you guys think.

The 6000 has evolved nicely over the years (the early ones were blue, with a small display)! Be aware that there are various versions (a bit like the Graseby 3000 series):- Classic, Chroma etc. See this .pdf.

I have worked on them in the past. There were known problems back then, but (according to various sources) they have all been sorted out by now. I would say they are an improvement on the Graseby (but there again, perhaps that's not really giving too much away)!

Support from Cliff Young always used to be good. But I'm not sure what the situation is these days. Hopefully others will pipe up!

While I have nothing against Arcomed, if anyone is looking to re-equip en masse I would always advise to take a look at all the options (manufacturers) currently available. After all, whichever one you go for, you (or your successors) will be "enjoying" them for the next ten to twenty years!
