Many Biomeds across the UK will have found memories of a certain Ian Conway. Ian has worked for a number of companies such as S&W, S&W Vickers and Spacelabs. He is well known not only as one of the best electronic engineers, but also as a superb Technical Trainer. His career spans 40 years in medical electronics, and he is this month about to retire from his current role as a Biomed at Macclesfield General Hospital.
I am current working with Ian to arrange a meal on Friday 21st April at 6.00pm in Macclesfield for all his friends who wish to come an wish him well for the future. This will also provide a great opportunity to get together and catch up with people you may not of seen for yonks! I was particularly hoping that many of the biomed engineers from the Liverpool and Manchester areas to come along. If you should know of any ex employees from the above companies could I ask that you let them know of this post.
