Thanks Geoff, I know this site, but there is no scheme, only a block-diagramm.
The malfunction in the MDM-amplifier or differential amplifier, it makes a lot of noise and crackling.
Small mounting. Without a scheme is very difficult.
I think some elements have changed their parametters.

Could be a "bad connection" - unseated SMD, or whatever. A quick run around with your soldering iron might do the trick. smile

But are you sure that the problem is not with the transducers (or their cables)?
