Anybody out there have a simple guide to wiping patient data from these machines. We can remove the Hard Drives and do the wiping via a Windows or Linux PC. Even a pointer as to were any files might be - the image files we have found, but the patient database information seems to be hidden.

We do not want to wipe the operating system.

Thanks in advance for any help.

The only way to securely wipe all patient data would be to use software such as Blancco (https://www.blancco.com) to erase the whole disk. Simply deleting individual files or folders is not sufficient to meet data protection rules.

Securely erase the whole disk and then re-load the operating system. This is how Siemens would handle it.
