Barwick Systems (part of the Ascribe Group of companies) are pleased to announce the release of E-MAT v1.33

This new version includes:
  • Risk Model functionality allows the user to allocate a number of equipment risk scores to equipment and also configure weighting. It is possible to filter assets by these risk scores on the PPM and ‘Replacement Due’ screens.

  • Higher levels of Hospital. Ability to filter by individual or all sites within a hospital.

  • If the default life span for an equipment type is amended, the user is prompted to update the inventory replacement due dates for associated equipment using this new default life span.

  • If a duplicate Serial Number is entered the user is prompted with a warning, the Hint on the Serial Number displays additional information about the duplicate records. It is still possible to add the duplicate serial number.

  • If an equipment type is flagged as ‘decontamination required’ then a decontamination number must be entered to log a job for this equipment type. This is a feature and as such may be implemented on a site by site basis.

  • A Serial Number may be entered when logging jobs for equipment that are not part of the inventory i.e. PPQ equipment etc.

  • Additional security is required to log non inventory jobs.

  • The ‘Logged Calls’ screen will automatically refresh after 5 minutes. If any additional jobs have been logged then an audio warning will be issued.

  • Multiple attachments may be added to service history jobs.


Training/NHSLA System
  • Electronic documentation may be attached to events.

  • Course code and Period filters included on the Certificates screen.

  • Trainees may be merged.
