Hi,

What method people use to put back the label after case replacement?

Say for example that you are replacing a case, then you need to peel off the serial number label to locate it in the new case, very often the glue that was already in the label remain in the old case so you find yourself using double side tape, cello tape or even superglue, but none of those methods seems effective for me. Is it out there a glue that is suitable for this purpose?

Thank everyone.

Hi John,

Thank you for the advice.

The heat gun is great and works mostly of the time, but sometime is not useful with all the labels, that is why I would like to have a plan b (a glue).

TIP:It is a bit late but the double sided tape works well but you need the type which is as thin as cello tape,it is tacky on both sides and ultra thin maybe 0,2 mm.You first clean off the old glue with alcohol and then stick the tape onto the cleaned label ,you pull off the seperating wax paper then you stick the label with the new backing onto the machine. You get different widths of this type of tape but you just layer it to fit any label it works well with loose decals as well.
