Hi Dave, yes I have the manual, drop me an email with your email on. I note the manual is only available if you attend a Medtronic course, to enter the service mode you need the password.
We have a fully automated test routine for our diathermy tester for the new FX8, automatic pass fail..

all the best.

Welcome to the forum, Tom.

See anything useful on Frank's site?

Hi Tommy, I assume you are requiring the latest version of the Force FX8.

I've sent you a wetransfer link.

Malcolm.

Hi Tommy, please remember to test the UFP (Bovie) outputs and also output 2, they are not specified to be tested in the manual, but the users may well be using them and they need testing.

One common issue i see is the users plug the footswitch into socket 1, and then the patient cable to socket 2. Footswitch socket 1 is for output 1, socket 2 is for output 2.
The PM is fairly easy to perform taking around 30-40 minutes.

Surely those plus/sockets do not (should not) mate, Howard.

Perhaps that's why Valleylab used to use the word "Force" in their branding?

Otherwise ... "additional labelling required"!

And ... as if we don't have enough to worry about ... check this out.

Yes, indeed.
