Hi all,
I am in need of a motherboard for a Schiller AT-1 ECG Recorder. I have broken one that belongs to a University here in New Zealand by reversing the polarity when replacing the battery. It blew an SMD 1.5A Time-Delay fuse, which has now been replaced. It worked briefly, then died. It no longer switches on.

If someone has a board for one of these, or perhaps a retired unit, that would be awesome.

Kind regards, Edwin.

Also known (badged) as the Esaote P-80, SECA CT-3000i and (or) Welch-Allyn AT-1.

These units used to be quite popular (in the UK, at least), so you may be in luck, Edwin.

I (we) "feel your pain", by the way. It's very rare that we have someone come on here and admit to a mea culpa like that (although many of us - myself for sure - could recall similar tales of woe).

I hope you get a result.

Meanwhile, I would have expected this (modern) unit to tolerate a battery reversal. How much fault-finding have you done?

I'm wondering if date and time settings have been corrupted or wiped out.

Hi Geoff,

Although I do have the service manual, I do not have schematic diagrams for the ECG-Recorder. This makes it rather difficult to work out what is going wrong. It is not related to Date & Time settings.

Anyway, let's hope someone has a board or decommissioned unit.

Hi Edwin, I've sent you a we-tranfer link with an old service manual that contains schematics, hope it will be of help.

Hi Malcolm. Thank you for the schematics. That will give me chance to at least find out what is wrong and maybe fix it. Much appreciated.
