Conmed Sabre 2400 high frequency electrosurgical knife HLP-5.

!!!!!!!This is not caused by an error!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Because the electric knife has been used for a long time.I used an electrosurgical analyzer for energy analysis and found the energy to be inaccurate.So I did an energy calibration according to the service manual.
The calibration of pure cut, mixed cut, coagulation and bipolar mode was carried out separately
When I did all the calibration steps, I got the HLP-5 error after POST.
So I restored the program of the U4 eeprom on the cpu circuit board before the calibration, the HLP-5 error did not show up.Can enter the program normally and complete the self-test.

I don't know why, if you have the same situation as me please tell me the reason, thanks for your help!

The HLP-5 error is indicating a fault within the RF amplifier. Check all the base and collector fuses for failures as a starting point. If a fuse is open it usually means the corresponding output transistor has failed.
