Hi Folks, just enquiring if anyone can suggest a vendor neutral image capture application for surgical/theatre stack systems used for laparoscopy/urology/ortho, etc... procedures? Something that can capture images from hd/SD/DVI etc... outputs via remote trigger on camera head and archive them to a patient file in the application? Most OEM's have their own type of system which integrates well with their own hardware, but I'm looking for something that could be used with multiple suppliers like Stryker, Olympus, wolf, etc... Any advice will be greatly appreciated?

How about something from Medicapture Inc, although a company based in the USA, they have a European rep in the Netherlands.

I second Medilogik, we use them on our Pentax endoscopy systems and it is a decent system with good support from the company.

We have the medilogik system in our endo department. Functionally it is exactly the type of system that I need (images sent directly to pc application) but medilogik don't seem interested in configuring it for theatre/surgical procedures.
Has anyone here configured it to theatre work flow?

If I'm not mistaken, would you need a generic dicom bridge, with a diversity of capture sources, with a dicom certificate?
Agfa Linx Paxport is configurable, and may have dicom store licence, you will need a work list server to load population data to adding to captured image. It has a simple keypad to send capture order, and select color or b/w ; may be possible link print order from your image system to capture order in at paxport
