EBME Forums Forums Maintenance Technical Assistance Alaris Guardrail plus infusion pump can't turn on

We have two BD Alaris GP Guardrail plus infusion pumps. Both won't turn on. Neither on battery power nor AC power.

When I plug them in, the power light comes on. The fuses are intact.
There's 9.5 volts on the batteries between the red and brown wires.

The keypads don't appear to be damaged.

Is there some "trick" that prevents them from turning on?

There are three dip switches located on the main PCB. If you recycle these, the device may start up again.
