Hi all,

Wondered if anyone has any recommendations for safety analysers.

Getting sick of the Rigel 288+ and the works-when-it-wants-to bluetooth connectivity.

Need a 60601-1 tester that can run test sequences, with pauses for powering on and off the equipment under test and the capability to export reports to an Android mobile phone.

Thanks for any suggestions!

The Datrend vPad-Rugged 2 may fit your bill.

But why are you not using IEC 62353 tests, as recommended by the MHRA Maging medical Device guidance?

Thanks Mike, I'll check it out!

I didn't mention 62353 because a modern tester doing 60601-1 will typically do both.

The OEM works to 60601-1.

Iv'e tried most common ESA's for medical devices...

I really like the VPAD rugged, but there's also the fluke esa series too worth a look at too, i havent had much experience with their 715 but heard good things! I am biased though because I do like the Rigel 288 lol
