At Portsmouth we have just trialed the McKinley T34 and Crono Standard Ambulatory Infusion Pumps.
For hospital based patients, the T34 is ideal and provides many safety features as well as programs.
I would recommend the Crono as an alternative for home based patients where you just need to provide a fixed volume over a fixed period of time. The only down side is that you have to purchase the dedicated syringes for the Crono.
I have seen pictures of the "new" Alaris pump and it looks good. I understand that they are awaiting CE approval which should occur in December.
