This is no worse than those plonkers with Harley's who put on noisy exhausts
Guilty I’m afraid! And yes they do (my pipes) emit less overall noise than a regular bike due to the lower frequency! The DB meter used to measure the "noise" takes a time dependent average so even though the sound pressure amplitude may be greater the actual emitted sound waves are fewer so the overall “average” SPL integral is less.
Please consider that to some of us the “Harley” sound is an acquired taste. I also like girls in skimpy summer dresses walking down the street but to a certain group of beards here it is considered an outrage! Its all a matter of taste really! Isn’t it?
