here, "plonkers" are considered an outrage, too!
Doing your own thing is fine (by me), just as long as it doesn't irritate the ***** out of everybody else.
"Live and let live" is the Golden Rule (and I should know, as I have Lithuanians on one side, Pakistanis on the other, Polish upstairs and Croatians across the road). Love thy neighbour!

enthusiast myself, I know a bit about bikes. I have noticed that there are many, many more H-D's about in England these days. Why is that? Similar sorts of reasons as to why there are more "butch" dogs about, I should imagine (read into that whatever thou wilst).
But the good news is:- the low frequency (tractor-like) rumblings (grunts?) of the hogs are counter-balanced by the high frequency din from the "twist and go" scooters. Either way, it's excessive and objectionable noise.
Meanwhile, anyone else with any "sad person" stories to tell (before I relate a few of my own)?
