I think the answer you're looking for i.e. where you can get hold of this standard is:
British Standards Online . Unfortunately there is a charge for the standard. However you may not have to buy it - perhaps your hospital estates department have a subscription to BSI (speak to the estates officers maybe?); if not then do you have a hospital library? Perhaps they can get you a copy, on a special loan, or alternatively if you have any colleagues, at College or University, they can get access to reference standards no doubt.
