Here we are all in-house, that is there are two groups, MODA the military and a few civilians (Saudi) and the rest of us (programme) and we are all treated well. Equal access to the Boss, salaries paid on time without delays, can't grumble.

Of course. But you are not an Indian national (for example), or a Filipino etc. Here's a rather arresting phrase for all to ponder:- "the brutal reality of the world labour market in our wonderful Global Village"! How does that sound? Surely we can all agree (all of us ex-KSA veterans, at least) that it has the ring of truth about it?

They are treated the same except in salaries, but that goes for the whole of the Gulf region, in fact in the hospital there are only two British born passport holders. Most of the TCN's have their families with them here with both spouses working.

Sounds like you're on a Happy Ship there, Mate. Good for you. But other possibilities do exist, as I'm sure you'll agree.

Other possibilities yes, have had quite a few offers to move, but there is a big challenge here and that stops me getting bored, plus I do have family status so none of that sharing malarkey (have to use a spell checker for that one)being on a compound with other companies/nationalities and not just hospital staff is a bonus. As I have said a few times a few more year left and it's of to the paddy field.

Umish, once again you have mentioned 'Nick' I can now tell you that he has turned his linear accelerator into a secret toy workshop and he will be making his one and only annual appearance towards the end of next month when he delivers the toys with his friend Rudolph.
