Indeed. For what it's worth (and that's ... er, Jack ****) I rarely, if ever, even glance at the Jokes thread myself. But, as they say, each to their own.
However, I also don't have much truck with people who take offence so readily. The way things are in the UK (for example), every time a person says
anything they're sure to offend
somebody from some "community", "special" (pressure) group or other.
To which I say ... if you don't like it, then keep away (or words to that effect)!
Or, put another way, no-one gives a damn about
offending old, white, ex-army, opinionated
etc., etc., Englishmen of Anglo-Saxon heritage such as myself. So what's so special about them? Answer ... nothing at all - they're just trying it on. And the trouble is that (in England at least) we let them get away with it.
Thin ends of wedges, inches and yards
etc. come to mind.

Free speech is just that! We don't want Thought Police.
And (lastly) remember that this forum is moderated, and Mr.Huw is (usually) very fair about it all, in my experience.
