Good Afternoon all,

Has anybody had any issues with a Rigel 288 safety tester;we have just bought one and the screen breaks up or goes blank whilst on test.

It has been back to Rigel two times now.

If it is used in the workshop it seems fine but does not seem to be able to cope when we use it in the various clinics in the community.

Thanks

Sounds like a warranty job to me (or a poor battery connection)! smile

But I can't help but wonder "what Rigel said" about its two visits back home to County Durham. think

It is a warranty job.

They first stated it was a software problem the said it was a relay problem and now!!!!!!!!!! who knows.

We asked for a full refund but we received a less than positive reply.

NOT HAPPY.

jUST IN THE PROCESS BUT A REFUND IS WHAT WE WANTED AS WE BOUGHT THE RIGEL288 AND UNI-SIM AS A KIT FOR MY FIELD ENGINEERS.

We found a problem with the ECG trace and they have no cure for it but have offered refund for the uni-sim but not the 288!!!!!!

They have lost my custom as there customer service is!!!! well lets be polite!!!!! not very good.

We have about 70 of the 288 meters in the organisation I work for and have found them to be very reliable. Therefore your problem is not common or necessarily typical.

I am surprised Rigel are not giving you good customer service as normally they are very good and respond to any issues quickly.
