Hi If the error message "DEFI FAULT -DO NOT USE [2], it means that charge timed out, faults detected in the HV circuit during charge or ready phase SJ with best regard

Hi!
I have a problem... I bought a CardioAid Mc+ for my ambulance. It works quite good, but I'm not able to set the date. Now the date is "04/06/2046" and the time is "30:33"... Is it possible?? I have no service manual and I don't know what to do. No one in my city repairs this model of defib. Could you help me? Thank you very much!!

Welcome to the forum, Tiziana. For some reason I have generally found information available on the 'net for *S&W equipment to be in short supply. Also, I'm not so sure that the Cardio-Aid MC+ sold in great numbers here in the UK. But hopefully, someone on here will come up with the information you need. In passing, I would comment that it sounds to me like a battery is on the way out (I'm guessing at a button cell on a circuit board somewhere). Meanwhile, I'm interested the Italian Blue Cross insignia. Is that EU iconography I see? * Other labelling may have been used:- Artema for example.
If you don't inspect ... don't expect.

From the Service manual
28.2 Real-time clock a) Switch on the defibrillator. b) Check the correctness of the day, month, year, hours, minutes and seconds shown. c) If adjustments are needed, enter the configuration menu by pressing Freeze during the self test period at power on.
29.2 Real-time clock a) Switch on the defibrillator. b) Check the correctness of the day, month, year, hours, minutes and seconds shown. c) If adjustments are needed, enter the configuration menu by pressing the second softkey from the left during the self test period at power on.

@Geoff Hannis: Thank you for the information about the CardioAid MC+. Meanwhile, I'm interested the Italian Blue Cross insignia. Is that EU iconography I see? Usually in Italy ambulance services are called "cross" + a color (not only Red Cross, but also Blue Cross, White Cross, Green Cross, etc). Everyone can create his own logo, if not already registered by others. We have choosen a blue cross, with the colors of the italian flag all around (red, white, green). In the middle of the cross there are the twelve yellow stars of EU. @Paul Robbins: Thanks to have posted the extract from the service manual! Friday I will be in Biella again and I'll try to do as you suggested.

I hope you get it sorted out OK (it should not be a problem). Meanwhile (as a "numbers man") I find it noteworthy that the EU finally settled on twelve stars. That is, a good old British dozen ... rather a Continental ten (or any other number). By the way, in the UK the Blue Cross is a long-established Charity looking after unwanted (and abused etc.) animals.
If you don't inspect ... don't expect.
