recently we have been under alot of pressure from the quality control department to make a written preventive maintenance program. as per my understanding its a procedure something like a P&P to describe the process. incase anyone is familiar with it please update me since its a requirement for our accreditation.

Not sure what you're after but have you checked out the downloads section.

Have a read of "Effective Management System For Biomedical Equipment" in the articles section.

Does that help?

Why not ask the Quality Control Department exactly what it is they are looking for? That way you might end up saving yourself a load of wasted effort. In other words; by getting it right first time. smile

sorry for the comment but have you ever tried to talk to someone who claims to know about clinical engineering yet they know nothing?

"The amount of work done is detailed in the manufacturers service manuals. The frequency of the work is also detailed there. Do you want to read the manuals for yourself? Or shall I stop doing any work and copy out all the relevant sections?"
That should keep them quiet.

My spelling is not bad. I am typing this on a Medigenic keyboard and I blame that for all my typos.

Yes. It seems that I've spent half a lifetime doing just that.

You have my sympathy (moral support ... whatever), Abdulaziz. smile
