I have an Evita XL ventilator that powers up, curiously it doesn't shoe the bar loading boot image, rather it shows a Samsung logo. Then it goes straight into ventilation GUI, it bypasses the part where you chose what patient you want to ventilate. At the top it says "Loss of Data" then after about a min or two it reboots itself and repeats the cycle over and over again. It gives no error code.

Anybody know what could cause this?

So I found the solution, just in case someone else needs it, it's the battery on the 2nd card in the back, counting from bottom to top. It's the CPU PCB card, it has a battery and it was dead.

I just replaced it and everything is now fine and dandy.
