Greetings.
This is COVID-19 related. Please help if you are able.
I am hoping that somebody may be able to identify a circular connector used on the Maquet Servo-I ventilator.

On page 82 of the 84 page pdf below you will find a pin diagram for a circular connector for the Maquet Servo-I ventilator. The connector of interest is described as "N28 / N70 - Control cable" in the upper right of page 82.

https://www.medonegroup.com/pdf/manuals/techManuals/Maquet-Servo-i-Service-Manual.pdf

Do you know what type of circular connector this is?
Do you have a part number?
A URL to a manufacturer or distributor would be most helpful.

There are photos of the cable here:

Thank you in advance.

Welcome to the forum. smile

The Maquet part number is as shown at the second link you have provided:- 06586932

The connector is clearly (almost) shown here (page down).

That pin layout looks a bit "special" (unusual) - probably deliberately so, I suspect. frown

What is your actual problem? Broken/missing connector? Missing Control Cable? think

To assist others in identifying:- this is the cable that connects the Patient Unit (main unit) (N70) to the User Interface (display) (N28) and wraps around a rubber cover ("doughnut") on the back of the User Interface.

PS: I have a .pdf parts list for the Maquet Servo-i ... if you need it I shall require an email address (many folk place that in their Profile).

Thank you, Geoff.

We would like to make an extension cable. This would enable the hospital staff to remain some distance from the patient when doing routine monitoring and adjustments.

We think this should be possible. CAN bus, even at high speeds, allows for 40 meter cables.

We are thinking of making an 8 meter extension.

FYI, another member says the connector looks like a Lemo connector. We will investigate that.

Yes, please send the parts list to me at bairdsoules at gmail . com

Thank you for your assistance.

Parts list sent. smile

I've spent a bit of time looking at on-line catalogues (Lemo, Fischer et al), but have not been able to find the pin configuration you need. frown

You must already know that you can dismount the User Interface (display) - but I guess you still don't get enough distance by doing that.

Maybe you need to sacrifice the cable(s) you have (and order some more), then cut in half and extend.

The thought occurs that perhaps the next generation of Servo-i could use Bluetooth in order to allow separation of the display from the vent. "Not secure", I suppose. OK ... offer longer Control Cables then (or even generic connectors)!

By the way, I can now mention yet again that the CAN Bus (Controller Area Network) was developed by Bosch for use in motor vehicles!
