We have just got some to tide us over until BD start to supply sets again. Its manufactured by Mindray for Baxter. Build quality looks good, its easy to connect to the laptop and load any configs.
Ours are all new so the only faults we have had are user puttings the set clamp in the wrong way round and getting it jammed (did it myself as well a few times while acceptance testing).

As an historical note:- Baxter has always been what we used to call a "catalogue company"; in that, rather than manufacture equipment themselves, they used to cast around to see what OEMs (sometimes small, innovative, OEMs) could offer and then badge them as "Baxter" (sometimes "Travenol") and bring to market using the financial and marketing clout that the Baxter organisation could undoubtedly bring to bear. This generally resulted in a "win" for all concerned, as they could often pick the "best of the bunch"!

Examples (from memory) are the 6100 (Sanyo)*, 6201 (Sharp) ... Colleague (Danby), Spectrum (Sigma) et al. In fact, with all Baxter products, we used to enjoy playing "spot the OEM". All is revealed, of course, once you open up the kit for close inspection (aka the "hands-on imperative").

Baxter history.

* Those recollections probably need to be confirmed (and maybe others can add a few more ... I believe that Terumo may also have been used, for example).

If you don't inspect ... don't expect.
