Anyway, having said my piece I'm going to step back from this thread now, as I don't aspire to climbing the career ladder in the UK NHS (or anywhere else for that matter).
When you operate on the
Dark Side you get paid for the work you actually do, regardless of whatever it is you call yourself, whatever job title you prefer, or whatever you pretend to be (or dream of becoming).
