We claim PTR for all training courses and such .For on call we can claim a higher amount ..I think 50pence/mile? I don't normally bother as i live quite close to work .
We get a fixed rate for being on call approx £90 for the week and then min 2 hours at 1.5X if we are called in.
This is for AFC rates .The guys who were on the old Whitley rate and changed to AFC still get a slightly better rate , but there is not much in it.
