Yes but I have a 30 mile to the gallon Touran which costs mega bucks to service so is probably more expensive to run than the average car.
And before anybody starts, yes I do occasionally need seven seats!
And no I am not going to buy a cheaper car to run around in when I don't need the seven seats (on the green issue it uses much more energy and resources to produce a car than it does to run one for the sort of mileage i do).
