I didn't realise they were employed by the company managing the contract as well as the NHS?
How do they find the time?
Actually re the last statement:

I can't beat them because they don't have to pay for insurance (a large part of the huge premium to enable me to set foot inside an NHS hospital ironically), staff, test equipment, premises etc so perhaps I should return to the NHS as then I could do both too! Great!!!!
