It's not so much a tyrant manager, but a wish of the department. An 'extended' service has been discussed in our department for at least 18 months. occaissionally it rears it's head. we all say no thanks and it stops for a while. All new joiners have the 'flexible hours' clause in their contract. It is now in my new Job description presented to the evaluation panel.
That is my concern. They seen to be using AFC to get their wish for a change of hours.
