New MEC Medical Ltd ORB Smoothflow Terminal Units are designed to fully comply with the requirements of European Standards ISO 9170-1.
MEC ORB Smoothflow Terminal Units can be either surface flush or trunking mounted. The new terminal units feature a larger 51mm collar which is completely smooth, reducing the chance of dirt build up. The new terminal unit also includes two independent springs for balance and durability. All second fix parts and boxes include a silver antimicrobial additive for inherent antimicrobial protection. Features integral to the units include non-interchangeability between probes, socket assemblies and terminal blocks.
Quick release of the probe with single handed operation. Incorporates a secondary valve, which facilitates ease of maintenance without interruption of the gas supply to the unit.
