Does anybody believe that all manufacturer's follow all the procedures in their own manuals?
Doesn't it seem odd that kit requires service every 12/12 exactly? How do they design this need in? If this period is in fact arbitary, and was specified during design before anyone had used the kit out there, might we not be in a better position to judge, with hind-sight, than the designer?
Car manufacturers are extending periods all the time, better design, better materials, etc. Why is this not happening to medical kit? Maybe it's cos consumers chose to purchase cars with lower service costs. Is kit ever advertised as "requiring less service"?
