I know absolutely nowt about these pumps or this program, David ... but just to tease it out a but more:-
1) How are the pumps connected to the PC?
2) Where does the "Bad Command" message arise ... at the Partner program GUI, on the command line ... or where?
3) Is there some sort of config set-up with the Partner software (to match up with the software revision status of the pumps, for example)?
If 1) is a serial cable of some kind, do the other pump checks also make use of it (so it may be eliminated as the source of the problem)?
