The talk aims to explain the relationship between precision and radiotherapy. Give an understanding of targeting and conformity and explain why it is necessary to see the target. As the importance of imaging has grown in radiotherapy the design of medical accelerators has needed to change to accommodate this. The talk will finish with the latest developments from Elekta in MR guided linacs.
